Parish council president
Peter Bourikas

It is a true honor to serve as the Parish Council President of Nativity of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (NAVM), leading alongside a vibrant and devoted community of believers. My journey with the parish began 25 years ago when me, my wife and two children became members. Since then, my faith has deepened, and my commitment to the mission of our church has grown stronger each year. I am passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where all members can nurture their relationship with God.

In my role as Parish Council President, I work closely with our clergy, staff, and fellow parishioners to meet the spiritual and practical needs of our church. I firmly believe in collaboration, transparency, and stewardship in all aspects of leadership. I am committed to enriching our worship services, outreach programs, and community initiatives, while continually seeking new ways to engage our congregation meaningfully.

In addition to my church involvement, I bring over 45 years of experience in managing a small business and have held leadership roles in several professional and industry organizations. This experience enables me to contribute valuable perspectives to the Parish Council’s work. Above all, my goal is to strengthen our parish family, ensuring that our church remains a place of faith, love, and service to all.

I’ve lived in Hull for the past 35 years. I am excited to continue working alongside our dedicated parish community to build a future rooted in hope, unity, and spiritual growth for all.
